The mission of Charles and Ray Eames was to get the most of the best to the greatest number of people for the least had an enormous impact on twentieth-century design practice. Their achievements continue to be held in the highest regard today, as they are increasingly recognised as having single-handedly changed the course of modern design. Charles Eames helped Eero Saarinen in the presentations for their designs for the Museum of Modern Art "Organic Design in Home Furnishings (1940)". Eames and Saarinen's designs produced by moulding plywood into intricate curves won them first prize.
