The day bed was originally designed for the apartment
of Philip Johnson in New York, and first publicly exhibited in 1930 at
the Berlin Exhibition.
Hardwood frame and suspension of heavy leather straps. Legs in tubular steel, triple chrome plated and polished. Mattress and headrest in expanded foam and dacron covered with stitched leather squares.
