Philippe Starck has rightly earned his "Superstar" status. A household name to many, he is responsible for some of the most familiar products, chairs, and interiors to have been designed since the 1980s.

Strack's products can be seen in the permanent collections of a number of European and American museums, among them the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) in New York and the Design Museum in London. Exibitions of his work have been held in Paris, Rome, Munich, Tokyo, London and New York. He is also renowned for his eclectic interiors for Ian Scharger Hotels, Alain Mikli eyewear, Jean Paul Gaultier and Hugo Boss.
